As I perused Shutterfly, loading, cropping, removing red-eye and heading for my cart - my lovely husband mentioned something about the economy and how it was the worst shopping season since 1930. Can that be true? So... we share on a cloud, saving money and the planet.

One of my favorite things lately is to dig up a fresh fern shoot from the yard, stick it in the tiniest pot I can find and then tuck it in a book case or window sill. Instant accent that brings the outdoors in.
